Dairy Free Double Chocolate Almond Tart

If there’s one thing I can’t live without it’s chocolate. Ask anybody. When we think of chocolate, we normally think of sugar and calories, but this dairy free double chocolate almond tart is here to prove you (and me!) wrong. This treat is perfect for the holidays or any time you find yourself craving a sweet treat!

Crust Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup (room temp)

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup almond flour

  • 1/4 tsp. salt

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Filling Ingredients:

  • 1 can coconut cream (refrigerated)

  • 1 cup dairy free chocolate chips

  • 1 tsp. vanilla powder or extract

  • 2 tbsp. coconut oil

Combine all the crust ingredients in the food processor and press into pie dish. Cool for 30 minutes in the fridge before baking in the oven at 350 degrees for 10/15 minutes or until edges are golden. Remove pie from the oven and let it cool.

For the filling, combine all ingredients in low heat until well combined. Pour mixture onto pie and place in the fridge for 2 to 3 hours or until filling is hardened. Tip: The coconut cream + coconut oil allow for the mixture to harden and form a cheesecake like consistency.
